Taiwan has no dedicated cookie statute. The consent banner on this site is our own practice, not a legal requirement imposed on us. This page explains, honestly, what we store and why.
The short version
We do not set any cookies. We run no analytics and no third-party tracking. The only thing we store is your accept-or-reject choice from the consent banner, and it lives in your own browser's localStorage — it never leaves your device.
Storage actually used on this site
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|---|
hii_consent_v1 | localStorage | Remembers your consent-banner choice so we do not show the banner again | Persistent until you clear browser data | This site (first-party) |
That is the entire inventory. There are no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no session cookies, and no third-party cookies of any kind on this site.
What "Reject non-essential" does
Because we run nothing beyond the consent record itself, rejecting non-essential storage changes nothing about how the site works — the articles, the navigation and the inquiry form all function the same. The banner simply does not appear again because your choice is recorded.
How to change or withdraw your choice
To clear your stored choice and see the banner again, clear this site's data from your browser, or remove the hii_consent_v1 entry from your browser's localStorage for heliumworkspace.digital. On most browsers, the developer tools' Application or Storage tab lets you delete a single entry without clearing everything.
What happens if you disable storage
If your browser blocks localStorage, the banner will appear on each visit because we cannot remember your choice. The site remains fully usable. The inquiry form still works; we simply cannot pre-fill or remember anything between visits.
